I met Katie when we were only 4 years old on a soccer field in Hallowing Point Park in Prince Frederick, MD. From there to elementary school classes, to middle school soccer, to high school varsity soccer captains and state champs, to senior week and Jamaica, to moving to Colorado, girls trips to Italy and Greece, she’s always been a part of my life. Katie is entirely selfless; she’s the nicest, most loyal friend a person can have. After 22 years she is more than a best friend, she is a sister and I’m so honored to share this moment with her.
