Flight
116 Miles (1 Hour 55 Min) from Redstone Inn Grand Junction can be a nice option as the drive avoids both Glenwood Canyon and Independence Pass making it an easy route! There are often good rental car deals here.
Flight
209 Miles (3 Hour 24 Min) from Redstone Inn Denver International Airport is located 220 miles from Aspen. It can be a scenic drive by way of I-70 and for the more adventurous a summer route of Independence Pass into Aspen provides breathtaking views. You need to rent a car at DIA or take a shuttle such as Epic Mountain Express (make sure timing with shuttle works). Please note that last summer the 1-70 route was blocked due to a mudslide following a wildfire, we are hoping to have a calmer summer but, should that route be closed again, Independence Pass will be the only driving option from Denver, Although it is a beautiful drive it is mountainous and steep- if that’s not your cup of tea check out flights into a closer airport.
Flight
56.5 miles (1 hour 10 minute drive to Redstone) through Glenwood Canyon.
Train
There is also an Amtrack train from downtown Denver to nearby Glenwood Springs, similarly, this won’t get you all the way to Redstone but is another fun option to get from Denver to the mountains and link up with someone else for the rest of the trip to Redstone!
Shuttle
August 6, 2022 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
