Flight
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is the best option for wedding weekend travel. It's 15 minutes from the four hotels with room blocks and the Welcome Event on Friday night. We are big fans of the Milwaukee airport, so trust us when we say it's small but mighty! All major airlines serve the Milwaukee airport, and there are non-stop flights from major cities such as Boston (BOS), New York (JFK, LGA & EWR), Charlotte (CLT), Atlanta (ATL), DC (DCA), and Phoenix (PHX). Flying into Milwaukee also gives you more flexibility in terms of transportation. You can use Uber/Lyft to get around, rent a car, or book a local car service. Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is the next best option for wedding weekend travel. O'Hare is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Milwaukee, depending on traffic. As the holiday classic "Home Alone 2" attests, O'Hare is a major U.S. airport and offers a wider variety of non-stop options. If you fly in and out of Chicago, we highly recommend booking a rental car to travel to/from Milwaukee. Click "View" to access the Chicago O'Hare website.
