Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore
The star of the Florentine skyline, Brunelleschi's Cathedral and Duomo began construction in 1296. Today, you can choose from several tours, including climbing the dome, climbing the bell tower, interior tour, the baptistery, a museum and even the Santa Reparata (the underground tombs). Reserve tickets ahead of time and, as with all Italian places of worship, be sure you are adhering to the dress code.
Forte di Belvedere
Located on the highest hill of the Boboli Gardens, the fortress was most notably built to protect the Medici Family in case of an attack on the city. Today, it offers a unique insight on Renaissance architecture and military activity, as well as sweeping views of Florence. (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot here in 2014)
Galleria dell’Accademia
A wonderful art museum centered around the world's greatest sculpture, Michelangelo's David. Be sure and reserve tickets ahead of time.

An amazing Italian market in the center of Florence, perfect for a group who can't agree on where to go for lunch.
Piazzale Michelangelo
The absolute best public view of Florence. If you choose to walk, be sure to wear your walking shoes, we aren't kidding when we say it is quite a climb.
Ponte Vecchio
Built in 1345, Ponte Vecchio is the oldest bridge in Florence. Today it features many shops and amazing views of the Arno river. (There will be a great view of the bridge from our Welcome Dinner!)

Uffizi Gallery
Italy's premiere art museum. The Uffizi Gallery is a beautiful building and gardens filled with amazing pieces, including Botticelli's Birth of Venus and La Primavera. You will want to reserve tickets ahead of time.
