Are my kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids so if their names are listed under your RSVP then the choice is yours! We totally get it (and prefer!) if you want to have a day off and make it a kids-free night.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then sure! If not, then we prefer if was just you and your dancing shoes.

What's the chair lift ride about?

Answer

The ride will be about 12-15 minutes to the summit. It is perfectly safe and goes at a slow, comfortable pace. We would suggest wearing secure shoes or holding onto them while riding up. The lift will start at 2:30 PM for a 3:30 PM ceremony. There will be snacks and water at the top.

Will parking be available?

Yes, there is self-parking and valet options in a parking lot between the venue and hotel.

What other events will there be?

Answer

There will be welcome drinks Thursday night, an after party bonfire Friday night. We will be continuing the celebration at Oktoberfest on Saturday! All events will be held at Van Winkle's inside the Kaatskill Mountain Club Lodge.

Should I bring anything?

Answer

Yes. Your dancing shoes and your A-game. But there is also a fitness center and a year-round swimming pool if you wish. Oh, and some awesome hiking!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Preferably cocktail, but whatever you feel most comfortable in! You will also be on grass for the ceremony so we recommend ditching the stilettos! Please note: It’s expected to be a bit chilly on the mountain (low 50s high 40) fleeces are encouraged!
