Cougar Camp

A large grassy field can fit up to 75 people tent camping and is free of charge for our guests. The group site is equipped with a bathhouse, a covered pavilion, picnic tables, a refrigerator, and a propane grill! Bring your own gear, or rent whatever you need from Jim Creek. They've got tents, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, and lots more.

Cougar Cabins

These sweet little cabins have a queen size bed, bunk beds, and a futon. While they don't have kitchens or bathrooms inside, there are separate bathrooms nearby, as well as an outdoor shared fridge and grill. These cabins are perfect for those who love camping but would prefer to sleep on a bed. Bedding is not provided in these cabins, so we recommend bringing or renting sleeping bags. $80/night.

RV Sites

Nestled in the trees, with spectacular mountain views, each of these sites can house RV's up to 45 ft. long. All sites have water, electrical, and sewer hookups. Shower and restroom facilities are within easy walking distance. There is a dump station on-site. $42/night

Deluxe Steelhead Cabins

We have one Deluxe Cabin available for guests to rent. These cabins have gorgeous views of Wheeler Mountain. They can sleep up to seven guests. Each has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, loft, living and dining rooms. $150/night.

Bobcat Den

The Bobcat Den is an apartment-style space that can sleep 8. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with 2 bunk beds, and there's a pull out couch in the living room. Perfect for a big family that wants to stay together. $145/night.

The Bear Den is an apartment-style space that can sleep 6. It has one bedrooms with a queen and bunk beds, and a pull out couch in the living room. Perfect for a family that wants to stay together. $115/night

Travel Note

Jim Creek Requires Background Checks

The recreation area is located near a Naval Radio Station. For that reason, they require background checks for any non-military guests. After you RSVP and request your preferred accommodations, we'll send you more information, including a background check form to fill out. Forms need to be returned to the Jim Creek or the couple by June 1st, 2023. If you are planning to sleep at home but still want to participate in the recreation activities at Jim Creek, you will also need to fill out a background check form. Please indicate this on your RSVP!
