FAQs

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We are having a potluck wedding! We recognize that we are asking you to come on a weekday evening to celebrate with us, so we would love to provide food for you! Unfortunately, due to the effects of COVID-19, we are not going to be able to afford the food for 600 people. We love that we have so many people supporting us, and we want everyone who wants to be at the reception to be fed and comfortable. That being said, we are asking that you bring a dish or a tray to contribute to the potluck!

Question

Is the date of the wedding actually a Tuesday?

Answer

Yes! The significance is that October 20th it is 1000 days of dating and approximately 143 weeks of dating, which happens to be the code we use meaning: I LOVE YOU

Question

Do we need a lot of kitchen stuff?

Answer

Not really. Katie's family has given almost everything we need. They have prepared for this day for years and have an abundance of cookware and dishes. The only things we lack are: Cutlery, Kitchen-Aid mixer attachments, knives, and glasses (because Katie tends to break things).

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

As fancy-shmancy as you want to be! Break out those suits and gowns if you feel like it!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Sorry to all of you party animals! We will not have alcohol at the wedding. The one thing we may do is have a bottle of a non-alcoholic sparkling-something for our toast.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

This is an answer that will come closer to time!

For all the days along the way
