Who knew that when I saw Eric walk into our history class in 2010, I'd be looking at my future husband. It was my first college class and the cute boy decided to sit by me. I tried to start up a conversation and Eric was. not. having. it. I could tell right away that he has no interest in making friends, but he gave in and reciprocated my question. We chatted for a bit and sat next to each other the whole semester. It wasn't love at first site, but it was definitely a crush at first site! Over the past 10 years (!) we have grown to know, respect, love, and celebrate each other through all of life's ups and downs. We done distance, opposite schedules, living together, living apart, and several moves. Now, we have a home in Northern Michigan, a pup we would do anything for, and a lifetime of happiness ahead of us. I couldn't think of a better person to share this life with. We are so excited to finally tie the knot, and can't wait to celebrate with all of you!

If she didn’t know she was looking at her future husband, I definately did not know I was sitting next to my future wife! Introverted and shy(that’s what im going to call it), I did not give the warmest of greetings but that faded quickly. A friendship started, and hasnt stopped. It has not stopped being new. It has not stopped growing. It has not stopped being real. Most importantly, it hasnt stopped. Out of a tested bond, sprouted love. It was a rough goodbye that first fall. I will never forget when I got a mysterious package in the mail. Dumbfounded of what it might be, I opened it to find all of my favorite things! A care package! Just for me! To this day I have never forgotten that feeling. One small gesture showed me a glimpse into Katie’s selfless, kind heart that started my fall for her and made me want to be more like her.
