Shopping at The Rim/La Cantera
This is one of our favorite places to shop in San Antonio. This shopping area is divided by I10 with The Rim to the East and La Cantera to the West. The Rim is a shopping center with a large variety of stores, restaurants and even one of the best movie theatre's in San Antonio. La Cantera is an open-air shopping mall with a large selection of high end retailers.
The Riverwalk
In the heart of downtown The Riverwalk is one of San Antonio's most well known attractions. Shops, pubs and restaurants line each side of the river. A great place to grab a Texas-sized Margarita and stroll the river.
Visit Kerrville
Katie's hometown, Kerrville is a quaint town in the heart of the Hill Country. Kerrville has a rich history, including being home to the very first HEB. Kerrville has a very cute downtown area with shopping and unique restaurants. The guadelupe river runs through the city and can be enjoyed by visiting Louise Hays Park.
Visit Fredricksburg
Fredricksburg is a small city with a big German heritage. Main Street has a variety of different boutiques, restaurants, and wineries. A great place to grab a glass of wine and stroll around Marktplatz or sip some coffee from Java Ranch as you shop.
