FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love to save you a seat and space on the dance floor. Kindly RSVP by December 10, 2026.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm. Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow you time to park and find a seat before the ceremony starts. Pre-ceremony cocktails will be served starting at 4:30pm. Please do not arrive before 4:00pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting that you dress in cocktail attire. We highly encourage you to select pieces in a neutral or muted color palette. Some examples are black, brown, olive, taupe, navy and blush. Please keep in mind that it will be January in Texas. It could be both 20 degrees and 70 degrees on the same day. Both the ceremony and reception will be inside, but there is an outdoor patio area with fire pits that can be utilized throughout the night. For the ladies: Midi and tea length dresses or elegant jumpsuits in evening fabrics such as satin or chiffon. For the gentleman: Suits encouraged; ties optional. Please avoid tuxedos, sundresses, casual skirts/blouses, and jeans. For more outfit inspiration please take a look at this Pinterest board: https://pin.it/7nluJLTYZ

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we ask that you please make childcare arrangements.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. Please do not record videos or take photos during that time. We have a professional photography and videography team that will capture the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, feel free to take pictures and videos. We will also have a professional photo booth that we would love for everyone to use.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar available for all guests 21+. Please do not bring any outside beverages. We will have plenty of options for the night. All we ask is for you to plan on a safe and sober ride home.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! There will be transportation to and from the venue. The shuttle will only be transporting to and from Kerrville and Mountain Home. If you will be staying elsewhere, please have a plan on how to safely get home. Please understand that Mountain Home is a very small town in the Texas Hill Country and the venue is fairly remote. Uber, Lyft and other rideshare apps DO NOT service the area. You may be able to pre-book a driver, but it is not guaranteed. We care deeply about everyone and want you to get home safely.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While your support is the greatest gift of all, if you would like to grab a gift from our registry, please visit the registry tab.

Question

Where can I find accommodations?

Answer

The venue is in a fairly remote area, but there are several Air B&Bs nearby. There are also 2 larger cities nearby. -Kerrville (25 minute drive) offers multiple hotel options. We have room blocks at the YO Ranch Resort for more details please check out the Travel tab. -Fredericksburg (40 minutes drive) is an adorable, little German town that has many B&Bs and hotels.
