We recommend staying in Oak Bluffs. If you do not plan on bringing a car to the Island, you can get a ferry into Oak Bluffs and either walk or get a taxi/uber to your lodging. The wedding venue (MV Rod & Gun Club) is about a 12 minute drive from Oak Bluffs. We will have a bus to take our friends from Oak Bluffs to the venue and back to OB following the ceremony and reception. If you decide not to stay in Oak Bluffs (completely ok too!) there are taxis on the Island to take you to the venue (there is also Uber and Lyft but they are harder to come by).
No you don't! There is one ferry company that allows you to take your car over to the Island, called The Steamship Authority. Reservation for cars open Tuesday, January 24th. Visit www.steamshipauthority.com
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.
There is no dress code for our wedding. Wear what you are most comfortable and feel your best in! The ceremony and reception will take place on grass so ladies wear shoes that you will be able to walk on grass in! While September is the most beautiful month on the Vineyard (in our opinion) it can get a little chilly at night so we recommend bringing a shawl or light jacket.
There is limited parking at the MV Rod and Gun Club. We recommend taking the transportation provided to guests or taking a taxi or Uber/Lyft.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
We recommend booking ASAP as accommodations book up very quickly. As soon as you receive the Save the Date, we recommend you start looking for where you would like to stay! Many hotels open their reservations 1 year in advance (so September 2022) or at the start of the new year (so January 2023).
Yes! Transportation will be provided from Oak Bluffs to the venue and then back again at the end of the night. If you are not staying in Oak Bluffs, Ubers/Lyfts/Taxis are readily available.
