Maid of Honor
Kelly and Katie met their freshman year in the same small group and dorm at Edgewood College. They spent the next two years as roommates developing a secret language that is a mixture of Harry Potter, the Grinch, and old Gregg quotes. Kelly is up for anything, gets along with everyone, and is synonymous with a good time. These days, Katie loves visiting Kelly at her favorite biker bar and she’s so happy she can host Kelly back in Madison for badger games!
Matron of Honor
Hannah and Katie met freshman year of college. The actual story is lost in legend, but if you ask either of them today, they will say they were at a soirée hosted by one of the sports teams. Suddenly, the crowd parted, a spotlight shone between them, Hannah and Katie locked eyes, and “lady in red” started playing as they gravitated towards each other.
Bridal Party
Katie can’t remember when exactly she stopped being Sarah’s annoying little sister and became one of her friends, but she won’t look a gift horse in the mouth (although the two of them spent hours rewatching Troy in their basement eating rainbow cookies and Starbucks.) Katie thanks Sarah for cultivating her love of lord of the rings.
Bridal Party
Katie can remember being friends with Mozel at a much younger age. Mozel and Katie used to play out episodes of “The Nanny” with their Barbie dolls, and used their movie theater play set to treat the dolls to double feature showings of “the Mummy” and “The Mummy Returns”. Their interests haven’t changed, they just don’t play with dolls anymore (unless you’re counting mulder and scully but they are ACTION FIGURES.)
Bridal Party
Making friends as an adult is impossible. Larissa and Katie are a rare exception. In 2017, during the shamrock shuffle, Katie “shooted her shot” by asking Larissa for her phone number and if she would be her friend. This was before they were even aware of their shared the love of survivor, all things Taylor Swift, and Jimmy John’s.
Bridal Party
Katie was thrilled to learn that an Ostrow family member was a Green Bay Packers fan… but surprised that it wasn’t either of the two who ever lived in Wisconsin. She soon realized that she and her future sister-in-law had many more things in common, including an affinity for collecting coffee mugs! And during their thanksgiving trip, Katie learned she and Jessica also share the enlightened opinion that any combination of juice and sparkling wine can be a mimosa (and it’s never too early to drink one).
Best Man
Eric and I crossed paths in middle school, but actually met during our freshman year of high school during basketball conditioning. We originally bonded over basketball and that transitioned into a long lasting friendship built upon tv shows, movies, music, trips to San Diego, mutual respect, trust, and most importantly, basketball. (have I mentioned basketball yet?)
Best Man
Hi, I'm Nate. I like to party.
Groomsman
Tyler and I met our first year of law school. Like all of the out-of-towners, we went to Marquette for the Sports Law Program. While neither of us ended up working in sports, we did get to work together, and that is almost as good. Tyler got me into playing sports games on my phone (originally an NBA 2K card game) and now many of our conversations are about FIFA.
Groomsman
We met our 1L year of law school. Adam lived just close enough to us that he seemed like he lived with us. Then, we did actually live together for around 2 years. Some of our best memories together centered around bar review Thursday nights that turned into class, that turned to marathon basketball sessions in the Marquette gym where we often "reserved a court" so we could play uninterrupted for hours. Over the years Adam has been a classmate, teammate (don't throw to our side), co-worker, meatball chef, and most importantly a friend.

Ryan and I probably met in law school, or at Brat House, but the first time we actually remembered each other is when we starting working together. We bonded over north-wall rage, ridiculously random tv show/movie quotes/lyrics, recruiting sites, and some ML Smoothies. I will always be grateful for him inviting me into his weekly zooms during the lockdown which allowed me to keep my sanity. As godfather to his puppy I know we will be in each other's lives for a long time to come.
Groomsman
In a tale that y'all are probably tired of reading by now, Bryan and I met our first year of law school. We bonded over great tv (specifically Scrubs and Psych), sports, and being the only people who would go 25 season into a career mode on FIFA. Bryan had the elite skill of writing league manager notes that were used to bind our whole group together. Even though he has since hung up his pen, I can always count on Bryan to deliver a perfect comment with the right amount of wit. Or a comment that literally no one gets, but once explained, it perfectly tracks. There is no in between.
Candle Lighter
Kevin and I first met our 1L year of law school when we lived down the hall from one another. Kevin's strengths on the court/field (steady, fundamentally sound, very aware, and a little slow) mimic his qualities as a friend. He has always been there for me, has been willing to help, and always willing to talk about anything (like sports, or something less important like school or something). Boo Kevin
