August 2012 - Daniel asked Katie to dance at Foss Prom, the last night of running camp. We danced and talked by the campfire, where we learned we both grew up skiing Cannon Mt. When camp ended, we decided to keep in touch over Facebook. After months of texting, a couple long Skype calls, and a ski date at Cannon, Daniel asked Katie on a date to go ice skating at Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA where we became boyfriend & girlfriend <3

We did the long distance thing throughout college. It allowed us to explore beautiful parts of the country, get to know ourselves better, and tested our communication skills... After 5 years long distance, Daniel joined Katie in Vermont!

Daniel proposed to Katie on a hike with friends on Cannon Mountain in NH, the same mountain we both grew up skiing. A lifechanging hike!
