FAQs

Question

How are you addressing COVID?

Answer

We are encouraging everyone to obtain a negative test regardless of vaccination status to help stop the spread of the omicron variant. We understand that some people have attended large gatherings for the holidays or have been traveling. IF YOU FEEL YOU'VE BEEN EXPOSED, PLEASE TAKE A TEST BEFORE COMING TO OUR WEDDING. We just ask that you do everything you can to stay safe for the people we love the most! Please feel free to wear a mask! Surgical masks are better than cloth ones. Experts are saying that people who have not received their booster shot are at risk. At home tests are becoming more available and will be a small measure we can all take to help mitigate the spread. We have many new babies in the group and want to protect them and all unvaccinated people. Thank you.

Question

Will the servers be masked?

Answer

Yes! They are all vaccinated to the knowledge of our wedding manager Brian, but are not required to show proof of vaccination.

Question

Is the band vaccinated?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

No, but please reach out to us if you would like help finding a room downtown. Some of our favorite hotels are listed under the Travel tab on our website. The bridal party is staying at the Fountain Square Theatre.

Question

What are public transportation options?

Answer

The Fountain Square Theatre is located on the Red Line route. The Red Line runs from 5 am to 1 am with stops every 15 minutes in Broad Ripple, Downtown proper and in Fountain Square. https://news.uindy.edu/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Red-Line.jpg

Question

Can I wear a mask to your wedding?

Answer

Yes! Masks are not required, but your health, safety and comfort are our top priority! We will have some available at the wedding.

Question

Is the photographer vaccinated?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is FREE in Fountain Square. Do NOT park in the Family Dollar parking lot - they will tow! Public Parking Lots are available at the corner of Shelby and Morris Street behind the Forte building. The Goodwill Store, located two blocks south of the Theatre, offers free parking on the North side of their parking lot. A smaller public parking lot is available on Woodlawn Avenue, between Virginia Avenue and Shelby Street. The neighborhood side streets are permit free and cars may be left overnight. There will be a bit of a walk to the Theatre from these parking lots. Come early and feel free to drop off guests right at the front door.
