Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to be unpredictable, but at this time we are moving forward as planned. Our ceremony and reception is outdoors, so there is plenty of room for social distancing. Masks are only required when entering the Manor House. If you have not been vaccinated, we kindly ask that you get tested the week prior to attending the wedding for your safety and the safety of others.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 26th, 2021!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available onsite. Venue staff will assist guests with parking as they arrive. Guests staying at the Comfort Inn in Chestertown will also have the option of taking the shuttle bus - 1st pick-up will be at 3:30pm and the second pick-up will be at 4pm! The shuttle will also drop guests back off at the hotel at the end of the night with first pick-up at 10pm and second at 10:30pm.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Great Oak Manor. The address is 10568 Cliff Road, Chestertown, MD 21620.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The venue will open for guests at 3:45pm, with the ceremony to start promptly at 4:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're going for a semi-formal vibe. For men, ties are optional and for women, sundresses are okay!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring a plus one if it is indicated on your invitation. We'd love to invite everyone, but unfortunately we are limited by our venue!

Question

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests turn their phones off during the ceremony, so that we can all be present for this moment. But don't worry! We've hired professional photographers and videographers to work silently in the background to capture all the emotions of the day. Phones can be used once the ceremony is over. Thank you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Because we are serving dinner buffet-style, we don't have the option to separately plate meals. However, each dish will have a placard in front of it indicating what ingredients it contains. If you have specific concerns please reach out to us!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Click the "Registry" tab to view our registry.
