Our Story
Our story began in the summer of 2021 with a friendly competition—Connor won a board game, Katie won a backyard volleyball match. To break the tie, Connor suggested a first date at the mini golf course, starting a tradition we’ve kept every anniversary.
Four years to the day after that first date, Connor recreated it and proposed.
In those four years, Connor became a pilot, passed 7 checkrides, taught 17 students how to fly, and found his place in Iowa City flying jets. Katie stayed close to home, discovered her passion for event and wedding planning, and now has her own planning business.
Together we’ve enjoyed date nights in the sky, proms, homecomings, graduations, confirmations, concerts, sporting events, vacation in the mountains of Tennessee, air shows, family game nights, dance parties, and so much more.
We are so excited to continue to grow together and become closer through the sacrament of marriage. We are looking forward to all the adventures still ahead!
