Her Story: We first met summer of 2017 when I signed up for group golf lessons. Conlan ignored me every week! I would always see him around town (at Ten Mile) and thought he was pretty cute, but our paths never really crossed. Fast forward to summer of 2019, I needed to pick up an extra job for a couple weeks. I started working at Munis and noticed that Conlan was ALWAYS there. The first time I talked to him was during a huge tournament, I approached him to ask if he knew where a group of golfers was out on the course...he gave me a short “no” and that was that. A couple weeks later I ran into him at the Rodeo, he couldn’t resist talking to me because I had an armful of beer. I couldn’t resist talking to him because he was wearing a Sandlot shirt. I asked him to dance and he wore my purse all night. The next day he asked me to go golfing with him and we had finally come full circle. A tiny house, a pandemic, and a puppy later I get to marry my absolute best friend and spend the rest of my life laughing, fishing, and dancing with him. His Story: I first met Katie during a Wine & Wedges clinic I was teaching. I, being the respectful and intelligent professional that I am, decided that it would not be a good look if I spent the entire session helping out the young, attractive, athletic girl constantly. I saw Katie bar tending a wedding I was at shortly after the class, and I spent a fair amount of money at a HOSTED BAR, trying to get her attention, with very little luck. I saw her sporadically over the next couple years, but once she started working at the course, I was pretty sure that she had completely erased our Wine & Wedges experience from her memory. I ran into her at the rodeo and we started chatting, I figured this was just friendly coworker chit chat, until she started force feeding me beer. I knew that if I were ever going to impress this girl, it was going to be that night. Naturally, I showed off my dance moves, wooed her over, and will not look back!
