Katie and Campbell met when they were both pursuing Masters of Accounting degrees at the College of William & Mary. Campbell attended Oklahoma State University for his undergrad degree and knew absolutely no one going into his program. During the initial stages of the program, he was hyper-focused on networking and finding a job. Meanwhile, Katie had attended William & Mary for undergrad (already secured a job) and was hyper-focused on utilizing the open bar at every networking event :) After the first full week of classes, the Master's program went to a happy hour at the local bar, Brickhouse Tavern. Katie and her friend, Caroline, coerced Campbell into sitting with them and kept the conversation lively. Their friendship blossomed from there. Throughout the next couple of months, hours upon hours were spent studying in the b-school, making trips to Wawa, throwing impromptu dinner parties, and growing closer. Finally in November, Campbell asked Katie on a date to Richmond, Virginia. Shortly after, they began dating and the rest was history... Katie began her career in Washington, D.C. and Campbell started in Denver. Although difficult at times, the two made a strong commitment to seeing each and flew constantly between the two cities. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, an opportunity opened for Katie and she made the move back to Denver. In November 2020, Katie and Campbell adopted their sweet pup Mazie and in August of 2021, Campbell asked Katie to marry him! Katie and Campbell are so thrilled to have you join them in their celebration of love!
