Liz is Katie's older sister (though some people often confuse them for twins!). Katie has Liz to thank for introducing her to the Spice Girls, for all the hand-me-down Limited Too clothes, and for inspiring her to follow in her footsteps by moving to Spain! They share a love for Taylor Swift and traveling around Europe—one of Katie’s favorite memories is their trip to Norway and Sweden, just the two of them! Liz is one of the most caring and selfless people in the world, and Katie is excited to have her big sister by her side as her maid of honor!
Bobby Harp
Best Man
Bobby is not only Brian’s older brother but also his longest-standing friend. From countless hours spent playing wiffle ball in the backyard, pretending to be their favorite MLB players of 2002, to watching football together every Sunday, their bond has only grown stronger over the years. Brian feels fortunate that his older brother never got too annoyed with him constantly copying his every move when they were growing up. He is excited and honored to have Bobby by his side as his best man.

Katie and Kirsten have been inseparable since sitting next to each other in 6th grade science, where they bonded over rehearsing the Duloc song from Shrek over and over again instead of paying attention in class. From making cringey YouTube videos together in middle school to always being down for a game night, Kirsten and Katie have done nearly everything together for the last 18 years (find yourself a best friend who is willing to get floor seats to the Glee concert!). Their love for Marshalls, Mama Mia, and pumpkin items at Trader Joe's in the fall continues to strengthen their friendship, and Katie could not imagine marrying Brian without Kirsten by her side!

If you know Brian, you know he and Joe have been inseparable since the 4th grade. During their first conversation, Brian was stunned to find another kid who could also name the backup quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. Now, 20 years later, Brian considers Joe more of a brother than a friend. Their bond is built on a shared love of fantasy football and coaching basketball, and they still laugh about the adventures they've had throughout their childhood. It’s no surprise that Brian couldn’t imagine getting married without Joe by his side as his best man.

Every girl’s dream is to have her bestie as her sister-in-law, and Katie made that dream come true! She played matchmaker by setting up Muretta, one of her best friends from college, with her brother Brian. Now, nine years later, they’ve gone from sorority sisters to sisters-in-law! Katie loves having one of her best friends on all the family vacations and as a cocktail-tasting buddy during the holidays—except this year, since Muretta and Brian have promoted Katie and Brian to Auntie Katie and Uncle Brian, with the arrival of sweet Emery Jean Watkin in February! Katie is beyond excited about the newest addition to the family and can’t wait to have Muretta by her side on her wedding day!

BWat! Brian and BWat first crossed paths in 2007 while playing All-Star baseball, and little did they know they would one day become future brother-in-laws. While having two Brians in the family can be a bit confusing, they’ve made it work by bonding over golfing, sipping IPAs, and geeking out over the latest Kirkland items at Costco. And with Katie and her brother being only 11 months apart (Irish twins!), they have always had a close bond. Brian is excited to have BWat by his side on his wedding day!
Jaime Dunn

Jaime has become one of Katie's closest friends in the past few years- thanks to her marrying one of Katie and Brian's best friends, Logan! Katie and Jaime share many similar passions, including Dancing With The Stars, country music, hydrojugs, bookclub, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives... the list could go on. Jaime and Katie both enjoy spending countless nights watching their their significant others coaching high school sports... :) Jaime is also Katie's favorite Rumble Boxing instructor (despite her insisting on ending every class with burpees). Katie is so thankful Logan brought Jaime into her life and can’t wait to have her by her side on her big day!

Picture this: Iron Horse Middle School, 2006. Logan Dunn, 11 years old, rocking fresh new diamond earrings, and Brian Harp, thrilled to show off his sick Reggie Bush jersey. Their weekends were spent TPing houses and shooting hoops at the park. A lot has changed since then, but their friendship and sense of humor have remained constant. Brian is honored to have Logan standing by his side, and with Logan being one of Katie’s best friends too, she couldn’t be more excited!

Mercedes and Katie's friendship also began in middle school. Cedes was one of Katie's Top 8 friends on MySpace back in the day, if that gives you an idea of how long they've been close. Since then, they’ve made countless memories—from nannying for best friends over the summer during college so they could hang out and watch The Bachelor together while getting paid, to traveling around Amsterdam and Portugal, floating at Lake Lure, exploring Asheville breweries, and playing pickleball. Cedes also played a big part in helping Katie and Brian finally admit they had feelings for each other—so naturally, Katie had to have her by her side on their wedding day!
Alessandro Carpio

Alessandro and Brian first met in 5th grade while playing CYO basketball, and have stayed close friends ever since. They continued playing basketball together through high school and even won a C-league adult league championship. They also bonded over the shared hobby of making the questionable decision to play video games until 1 a.m. during high school, and now spend every Sunday in the fall together watching football. Brian is thrilled to have Alessandro as a groomsman.
Maddy Ferrante

Maddy and Katie met in college at Chico, where they were in the same sorority and had an instant bond. Katie felt like she had known Maddy forever, and they quickly realized they shared a very similar sense of humor and a love for all things cute and tiny. Nobody makes Katie laugh like Maddy does! Their friendship grew even closer when they became roommates during their senior year, and now Maddy welcomed a precious baby boy this past December! Katie has loved getting to watch one of her best friends become a mom, and she couldn’t imagine getting married without Maddy by her side. Watty & Thompy forever!
Ryan Hyrn

It would not be a party without Ryan Hyrn, one of Brian's best friends, who makes everyone laugh with his sense of humor. When Ryan moved to San Ramon in 8th grade, he was quickly welcomed into the group, thanks to their shared love—and perhaps weird obsession—with sports. The boys spent countless nights at the Hyrn house watching UFC, which eventually led to wrestling matches on the living room floor (Sorry, Mrs. Hyrn!). One of Brian’s favorite moments is when Ryan calls to catch up, as they still share a laugh about the silly things they did and said back in the day. He can’t imagine celebrating his big day without Ryan by his side.

It’s definitely not a party without Brea Baarts! Brea and Katie met during their Gamma Phi days at Chico and became really close while living together in the sorority house their senior year. Brea is one of the most fun-loving and adventurous people Katie has ever met. They’ve spent numerous bachelorette parties together and have a mutual love for espresso martinis and procrastinating wedding planning. Fun fact: Brea is actually marrying one of Katie's brother’s best friends from high school! One of Katie’s favorite memories with Brea is celebrating her 21st birthday together in Cabo during Spring Break. Katie couldn’t imagine her wedding day without Brea by her side!

Katie and Mo met in Chico during college and really bonded when they shared a room in the sorority house their senior year. Mo is one of the only people whose alarm (and snooze alarm, and second snooze alarm) Katie didn’t mind waking up to every morning. When you’re still really close after sharing a room for a year, you know it’s a friendship that will last! Katie loves asking Mo where she finds all her cute clothes and enjoys indulging in the delicious treats she bakes. With Mo living in Chico again, Katie is thrilled to have an excuse to visit their favorite college town! After almost 10 years of friendship, Katie is honored to have Mo by her side.
