We met while attending Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa. Brad was originally from that area (Lenox) and Katie was going there for school. They became fast friends! After SWCC, Katie left to attend Iowa State University but they remained friends. Timing is everything because almost 13 years later they are getting married!

How We Met

Brad proposed to Katie in the East Village. He got down on one knee in front of the capitol building, at night, in the midst of winter. They were attending a holiday event, as Katie loves Christmas.
