Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block available to all guests at the Hotel Indigo on the river in beautiful downtown Naperville. You can find all of the information on the "Travel" tab of this website. There are numerous other hotels and Air Bnbs in the area, but please note that the provided transportation will only pick up and drop off from the Hotel Indigo.

Should I fly in to Chicago O'Hare or Chicago Midway?

Answer

It is up to you! O'Hare is about 30 minutes away from the hotel, and Midway is about 40 minutes away. Please note that Chicago traffic may alter these travel times.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is formal, and we encourage florals and fun colors to match the beautiful Rose Garden ceremony space. Please kindly avoid wearing white :)

What’s the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Early October is typically crisp and breezy, with highs near the upper‑60s °F (15 °C) and lows around 50 °F (10 °C). However, weather in Illinois can vary - so it is best to check the forecast before you pack.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outdoors (but there is a rain plan). Our reception will be indoors (with access to the water-front deck if you need some fresh air).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. We are providing charter buses to transport guests from the Hotel Indigo to the ceremony and reception at Cantigny Park. Please kindly meet in the hotel lobby at 3:15 to take the bus. If you do miss the bus, Ubers are easily accessed in the area.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are providing charter buses for guests to and from the ceremony location. Please meet at the Hotel Indigo lobby by 3:15pm to catch the bus. Buses will leave the reception at 11:15pm to return to the Hotel Indigo for the after party.

You are welcome to contact Katie or Brad with any questions up until the wedding weekend. During the wedding weekend, please ask literally anyone else (parents, siblings, wedding coordinator, google).
