The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM at St. Mary’s Church. We kindly request guests arrive 20-30 minutes before to find a seat and get settled. Afterward, join us for cocktail hour and the wedding reception, starting at 6:00 PM at The Venue at Goebbert’s. The church and reception venue are about a 10–15 minute drive apart, depending on traffic — feel free to take your time between events. We’re planning to have guests start sitting down for dinner around 7:00 PM.
We want you to feel as special as we do on our big day! Semi-formal attire: mid- to full-length dresses for the ladies, and sport coats or suits for the gentlemen. Florals? Yes please! Classic black? Always chic. Wear whatever makes you feel confident and ready to celebrate with us. We kindly ask guests to keep in mind that the ceremony will be held in a church when choosing attire. The reception will include both indoor and outdoor spaces, so plan accordingly!
Yes! Both St. Mary’s Church and The Venue at Goebbert’s have plenty of parking available on-site, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot.
Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at the Hampton Inn in Huntley for your convenience. You can find all the booking details under the “Travel” tab on our wedding website.
Yes! We want all of our guests to have fun, enjoy the evening, and get from place to place safely. For guests staying at the hotel, shuttle buses will be provided from the hotel to the reception venue, with return service to the hotel at the end of the night. Shuttle times will be shared closer to the wedding date. Please note that guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the church ceremony. Our venue has also informed us that guests are welcome to leave their vehicles in the venue parking lot overnight and pick them up the next morning if needed. Uber and Lyft services are readily available in the area as well.
