Currituck Beach Lighthouse
The Currituck lighthouse was first illuminated in 1875 and is still in use today! You can visit the lighthouse and the see the keeper's quarters close by.
Whalehead Club
The Whalehead Club is a historic hunting lodge right across from the Currituck lighthouse. It is also where we took some of our engagement photos (pictured above)!

Whalehead Brewery has a self serve beer wall, great food and the beer is Abby approved. What more do you need to know??
Big Buck's Creamery-Homemade Ice Cream
Right next to the Whalehead brewery, you can find one of the locations for Big Buck's Homemade ice cream. The ice cream is Katie approved!
Wild Goose Wine Bar
Although we have not had an opportunity to check this place out yet, it is a very popular spot and highly recommended by our wedding planner, Sasha! The Wild Goose features a wall of self serve tasting machines.
Bernie's Brother Tropical Grill and Bar
If you're looking for a good bite to eat, the food here was fantastic and the waitstaff were great!
The Kind Cup
At the Kind Cup you can grab a delicious coffee and browse some local art for sale in the cafe. They also have lots of pastries, including an everything bagel muffin filled with cream cheese, YUM.
