Corolla is a town in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Corolla is known for it's wild horses that roam the beaches.

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at The Chesapeake, which is an event home in Corolla, North Carolina. This home is in the 4x4 area of the beach and is accessible by 4x4 vehicle only.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Beach formal/cocktail. What does that mean you might ask? Think flowy, beachy, elevated, but practical. This is a November wedding and there will be some sand to walk through to get into the venue. Typically, the OBX is around 50-70 degrees and breezy this time of year. Please dress accordingly with these factors in mind. Most importantly, don't stress about it! We love you all for your individual personalities and styles. Wear something that feels like you!

What do I need to know about driving on the beach?

Answer

Driving on the beach is much different that driving on the road. You need to have a 4wd or AWD vehicle and you must air down your tires. If you do not have an appropriate vehicle or do not feel comfortable driving on the beach, we will be providing a shuttle service to bring you to and from the venue. More on this to come! Am I able to bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.
