Will children be invited?

Answer

The wedding will be adult only. While we love children, we want you to have the opportunity to enjoy a night off from kid duties. If you would like help coordinating babysitters in Savannah, or if you have an issue please contact us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal: Cocktail dresses and suits, but don't be afraid to wear your tuxes and gowns. Please no jeans or t-shirts. Also note that October temperatures in Savannah can fluctuate a lot. We want you to be comfortable so please keep this in mind.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

You may arrive after the museum's official hours close. So please arrive between 5pm-5:15pm. The ceremony will promptly begin at 5:30pm.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! There is a complimentary parking lot with plenty of spaces for all guests.

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

Considering the ceremony & reception are taking place in a garden, there is no smoking anywhere on the grounds of the Maritime Museum. Smoking is allowed in the parking lot.
