Wedding Weekend Itinerary

Rehearsal Dinner

5:45 pm - 9:00 pm

Attire: Think semi-formal, golf attire and or nautical-chic. Ladies, a cocktail dress or tailored jumpsuit works beautifully. Gentlemen, a button-down with chinos or a lightweight sport coat is perfect. We’ll be cruising on Lake George, so we recommend comfortable, deck-friendly shoes like wedges or loafers, and bringing a light wrap, it might get breezy!

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we set sail on the beautiful waters of Lake George! Our Rehearsal Dinner will take place aboard The Morgan, where we’ll enjoy a scenic three-hour cruise surrounded by breathtaking views. A plated dinner will be served in the lower (indoor) dining area, and an open bar will be available on the upper deck—perfect for mingling, toasting, and soaking in the sunset. Come hungry, dress comfortably, and get ready to celebrate with us on the water!

Wedding Ceremony

5:00 pm - 5:30 pm

We kindly ask our guests to dress in formal attire. Think light, elegant fabrics and soft, romantic colors that complement the lakeside setting.

Our ceremony will take place at The Overlook at The Sagamore, located on the third floor of the main hotel — a breathtaking terrace overlooking Lake George and the resort grounds. Guests may access The Overlook by entering through the main lobby and taking the gold elevators up to the third floor. When you exit the elevator, the doors to The Overlook will be directly ahead. We invite our guests to choose their own seats upon arrival and settle in to enjoy the view before the ceremony begins. To ensure that everyone can be fully present, we kindly ask that no cell phones or photos be taken during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer capturing every special moment!

Open Day

7:30 am - 10:30 pm

(Activities are not hosted or paid for in advance; please book directly through The Sagamore or local vendors.) A complimentary shuttle runs from the resort into Bolton Landing, the charming lakeside town just minutes away. If the weather is nice, it’s only about an 8-minute walk into town. We highly recommend exploring the local antique shops, stopping by Frederick’s for a lakeside bite, and grabbing your morning coffee and goodies from Bear’s Cup Bakehouse — a favorite among locals. For those looking to explore further, Lake George Village is just a 20-minute drive away and offers plenty of shopping, dining, and boat rentals if you’d like to spend a day on the water. If you choose to stay back and relax at the resort - enjoy pool time, the spa, hiking, or just lounging by the lake. Golfers, get ready — a guys group will likely tee off at the Donald Ross Course, and Nat will be gathering a headcount beforehand.

Farewell Brunch

9:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for a relaxed farewell brunch (price included with your stay) at the Dollar Island Terrace (just below La Bella Vita restaurant). A full breakfast will be provided; enjoy coffee, mimosas, and breakfast favorites as we say our goodbyes and wrap up the weekend together.
