Officiant
I'm lucky to have a brother who I look up to and admire. We're excited to have someone so important to us lead our ceremony. He's been studying hard for this role and he promises not to let too many tears out while up there.
Maid of Honor
Caitlin and I have been friends since our awkward stages in middle school! We’ve lived in different cities but have always remained close friends and now we're fortunate enough to only live five minutes apart. She is the friend I know I can always count on to be there when I need it. She is the sister I never had. You’ll recognize her at the wedding because she’ll be the one with the biggest glass of wine in her hand!
Best Man
I’ve known Simmons my whole life. We grew even closer in high school because of our love of lacrosse. We’ve worked together for the past ten years during four different jobs, so you know he can’t get enough of me! Simmons is the friend I know I can call no matter what and he will always be there to help. He is and always will be a part of my family.
Matron of Honor
Christie and I met at a job training while in college. I know that our life paths were meant to cross, because I’m not sure where I’d be without her. We’ve been classmates, coworkers and even roommates! I was there during her first years of dating her now-husband and she was there for me when Glenn and I first met. She helps to keep me spontaneous and is always there to help me find the best outfit. You’ll recognize her at the wedding because she’ll be the best dressed!
Groomsman
I’m very lucky to have a brother like Wayne. Throughout the years, no matter what stage of life we are in, we can count on each other to make any situation fun when we're together. I love him so much and I’m proud of who he’s become as a man, a husband, and a father. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us.
Bridesmaid
Sara and I met in high school. We’ve been through it all together and I’m very fortunate to have her in my life. She is one of the kindest humans that I know and has always been a great confidant of mine. She is great at making me and anyone else she’s with find the humor in any situation. You’ll be able to recognize her at the wedding by her contagious laughter!
Groomsman
I met Jesse Late in high school and we quickly became very close. He is my go-to travel buddy and as a result, we have done some amazing things in very cool places. We have always been there for each other and I know he’ll always be there whenever I need someone. This guy is one of my brothers.
Bridesmaid
Grayson and I met back in elementary school, and we were actually third-grade boyfriend and girlfriend! He got over the heartbreak of being dumped and we became even closer friends in high school. Grayson and I both went to the College of Charleston and since then he has accomplished so much in his Navy career. I’ve always been impressed with Grayson’s ambition and determination and he has always encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone and achieve success. You’ll recognize Grayson at the wedding because he’ll be the biggest social butterfly!
Groomsman
Brice and I met when I started at the port about six years ago. Through fishing and golf, we have become very good friends. It’s never a quiet night with me and Brice. So if you hear someone hooping and hollering on the dance floor chances are it’s just “DJ Brown Rice”.
Bridesmaid
Bobby and I met in college. When we first met, we instantly knew that we were meant to be friends! Bobby and I share a love for eating good food, enjoying tasty drinks, going to the beach, being on a boat, and of course dogs. Bobby is a great cheerleader for those he loves, and he has always been there to put a smile on my face when I need it. You’ll recognize him at the wedding because he will be the first one on the dance floor and probably the last one to leave the dance floor!
Groomsman
I have known Andrew since we were young kids running around the hunting club. We have lived together and worked together and have gotten even closer within the past five years. Andrew is a great friend and we have a lot of fun memories, some that I can remember and probably some that I can’t.
Bridesmaid
Becca and I are the cousins that are closest in age. I was very lucky to grow up alongside her as a friend and family member. Becca is the one with the best memory in the family, so she will be able to tell anyone at the wedding all of the funny and possibly embarrassing family stories.
Groomsman
I first met Heath a few years ago when he started dating our friend Caitlin. At first he was just Caitlin’s boyfriend but over the past year we have grown close and I now consider him one of my closest friends. Heath will always get a good laugh out of you and can talk about anything. He and Caitlin are now engaged and I know he will be a big part of my life for a very long time and I am looking forward to it.
Bridesmaid
Sarah, referred to as most in the family as Diday, is luckily one of my cousins as well. She and I were very close growing up and even came up with a song to represent our closeness “We’ll stick together, we’ll stick together”. Diday now lives in California and is making the family proud!
Groomsman
I met Brendan through Katie, and at the time he was dating one of her close friends, Christie (they're now married). I knew Brendan would be one of my lifelong friends after us four went on a couples cruise through the Bahamas. Ever since then we have grown closer and closer. Brendan is the type of guy who would do anything for anybody. He is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met. The goal has been and still is to get them to move to Charleston.
Bridesmaid
Laura, known by most in the family as LJ, is also a cousin of mine. She grew up in Charleston, and visiting their family in Charleston ignited my love of Charleston. She similarly has a passion for helping students and is an elementary school teacher in Charlotte.
Groomsman
Tony and I met a little over a year ago because of our dogs, Charlie and Chewie. We were sitting at Royal American when he came over to pet the pups, and we immediately hit it off. Tony had just recently moved to Charleston so I was happy to show him the ropes. It has been a short time but we have grown very close. Tony will do anything for anyone he is just that type of guy, and plus sometimes he lets me drive his motorcycle.
