Steamboat Grand

Maximize our time together by staying at our preferred hotel with discounted wedding party rates. This hotel offers tons of amenities, including a free shuttle service, pool, poolside bar, fitness area, and spa. It is walking distance to our welcoming party, the resort, and many activities and dining options. All provided wedding transportation will be leaving and dropping off at the Grand. PLEASE READ! Summer weekends in Steamboat fill up quickly, so we highly recommend guests book their rooms ASAP. Guests can book online via the link below or call the Steamboat Grand reservations department at 877.269.2628 and refer to the Smith/Gordon wedding group. If later on things need to change, guests can cancel up to 48 hours in advance for a $25 cancellation fee.

We understand that this is as much a vacation for you as it is our wedding, but we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to stay at the Steamboat Grand to be able to maximize our time together and have the most convenient experience. That being said, there are other rental options in the area. Before choosing to stay "off-site" please note the following: - You will likely need to rent a car for the week and provide your own transportation to and from the wedding and other events. - You will not have access to the pool or other amenities at the Steamboat Grand if you are not a guest of the hotel. There are no guest passes. - You will be more physically removed from other guests of the weddings. -Some adventure excursions have partnerships with the Steamboat Grand to provide shuttles, but do not provide shuttles to other locations If you still feel inclined to rent a different space, please let us know so that we are aware!

Hayden Valley Regional Airport (HDN)

Flying into Hayden is the most convenient way to arrive in Steamboat by air as it is only a 30 minute drive from Steamboat Springs. Rental car and shuttle transportation is available.

Denver International Airport (DIA)

Flying into Denver will offer the most direct flights but is about 3 hours drive from Steamboat Springs. Please let us know if you choose this option and we can help try to coordinate carpooling or shuttles to assist you the rest of the trip. Car rentals and shuttle transportation are available.

Wedding guests will receive discounts from Go Alpine shuttle to and from either airport. Using this shuttle service is going to be cheaper than renting a car!

Cars

We know that getting to Steamboat can seem like a haul. Luckily, once there, there are many options to get around town without a car! There is a free shuttle from the Steamboat Grand and a free bus system that can conveniently take you to grocery stores, downtown, and more. We will be providing transportation to all the important things for our wedding. Steamboat is a ranch town at heart, but one that is well familiar with travelers, making it suited for people who want to ditch the car once arriving to town (or take a shuttle from the airport!). If you do choose to rent a car, there are options at either airport. Please note that there is an additional parking free at the Steamboat Grand Hotel.
