When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest arriving around 4:30 PM to park, chat, and get acquainted with the venue before the festivities begin. Please arrive no later than 4:50 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 PM. If you are late, Fairview Farm staff will not allow you to enter the area until the ceremony is over.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You can bring a date if it is written on your invitation. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate a plus-one for everyone, especially now with the COVID-19 situation. If your invitation does not include a plus-one, we ask that you please do not bring a date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adult-only ceremony and reception. As much as we love your kids, treat this as a night out!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, you will be able to inform us of any dietary restrictions while RSVPing.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, please click "Travel" at the top of the page for more information on the shuttle. Please wear a mask while on the shuttle for everyone's safety!

What is the best way to get there?

Answer

The venue strongly suggests using the GPS app Waze to get you there. We also recommend typing the farm entrance address (slightly different than USPS address), which is 1626 Ballsville Road, Powhatan, Virginia 23129.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is! We still suggest carpooling from the hotel/house you're staying at or taking the shuttle!

Who do I contact if I have questions the day of the wedding?
