TRAVEL TO/FROM STONE TOWER WINERY (19925 Hogback Mountain Rd, Leesburg, VA 20175) Free overnight parking is available at the venue. Ubers/Lyfts in Leesburg are also plentiful. Please budget ~15 minutes for pickup time to ensure you are on time to the ceremony. After the wedding, a free shuttle will be provided from Stone Tower Winery back to the Homewood Suites & Home2 starting at 9pm until the end of the reception (11-11:30pm). Dulles International Airport (IAD)

IAD is the closest airport to Leesburg, VA at a 20 minute drive away. Getting from IAD to Leesburg: - Uber/Lyft/taxis are plentiful in this area - Car rentals are available at the airport - Public transit: Take the DC Metro (silver line) from the Dulles airport to the Ashburn station. From there, Uber or take a regional bus (route #351) to the Leesburg city center. **Note that the bus does not run on weekends and this option will take an hour of travel time.

DCA is a 45 minute drive from Leesburg, VA. Getting from DCA to Leesburg: - Uber/Lyft/taxis are plentiful in this area - Car rentals are available through DCA - Public transit: Take the DC Metro from DCA to Ashburn (blue line, transfer to silver line) and Uber/Lyft/taxi or take regioinal bus #351 from there (bus does not run on weekends). Ashburn is a 15 minute drive to Leesburg.

The closest Amtrak train station to Leesburg is Alexandria, VA. From there, guests can Uber/Lyft/taxi to Leesburg (45 minute drive), or take the DC Metro to Ashburn (blue or yellow line from King St. station, transfer to silver line) and Uber an additional 15-minutes to Leesburg from there.

DC Metro information

To get from Leesburg to DC, the Metro is a great option. Drive or Uber to Ashburn Station and take the Silver line. Your exact stop will depend on your destination, google and apple maps has excellent detailed directions for which stations to use. For those interested in seeing the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin, exit the Silver line at the Smithsonian stop and walk 15 minutes to the Washington Monument (you can't miss it) where we will meet. The Tidal Basin trail with the cherry trees is a short walk from there. No need to buy a Metro pass, simply tap your credit card on the round sensor when walking through the Metro gate (a single trip will run $2.25-6.75 depending on distance traveled). Metro trains run 5am-12am M-Th, 5am-1am Friday, 7am-1am Saturday, and 7am-12am Sunday. While the DC Metro is very safe, public transportation can be daunting in a new city, so please reach out to Katherine or Alex if you have questions or need Metro advice!
