Walk around historic Old Town and check out the cute shops. Some of our favorite restaurants include the Colorado Room, the Rio, Snooze (brunch), the Emporium (inside the Elizabeth Hotel-there’s also an awesome bar called the Magic Rat in there), Silver Grill (brunch), and Austin’s. Check out Rare or the Kitchen if you’re looking for something a little fancier. Be sure to pop into the Cupboard, White Balcony, Rocket Fizz, Otter Box, and Old Firehouse Books as well.
This hike is a bit trickier and longer than some of the ones in Lory. Plan several hours-but it’s worth it! Start early as about half is unshaded and it’ll get hot. It’s a beautiful drive up the Poudre Canyon and the parking lot will be in your left. You’ll likely lose cell service so make sure you know where you’re going before you get in the canyon.
Jessup Farms is a whole little artisan village that has so much more than just this restaurant! It’s a super cute area that has a great family friendly restaurant (The Farmhouse), a good date night spot (Cattiatorre), a brewery (Barrel House), and two super cute boutiques. Definitely worth checking out!
Rent a paddle board or kayak on Horsetooth, or just go for a swim!
Great for the bride’s family coming in with kiddos! There’s an awesome park and a nice big pool to check out. Another fun afternoon activity for kids would be to head to the Fort Collins Discovery Museum.
