I believe it was my future sister-in-law who coined the term “summer chic” for her wedding, and everyone looked fabulous. Summer dresses are always great for the gals and guys always look fantastic in a coat and tie, but they’re certainly not necessary. Some of the grounds are a little rocky so ladies will probably be most comfortable in a block heel, wedges, or flats.
Plan on it being about 10 degrees cooler up the canyon than in Fort Collins. It can get a bit chilly as the sun goes down so you may want a light jacket, but hopefully you’ll stay warm on the dance floor!
Plan about 45 minutes to an hour. I’m always a fan of Siri or Google Maps, but the directions should be pretty easy to follow. Please note that the road is windy.
Limited if any. Once you get into Rist Canyon it’s a straight shot with great signs, but I’d recommend downloading the directions beforehand if you plan to drive.
We will have a shuttle service running to and from Stove Prairie Ranch with the pick up and drop off location being the Hilton in Fort Collins. Check out the “travel” tab for more info!
