Claire is my younger sister, so I like to think that I introduced her to travel when we were roommates in Brooklyn, where she still lives. However, she has surpassed me and now can plan a vacation, complete with a linked itinerary, faster than I can buy a plane ticket.

I've known Mike for as long as I can remember. He's been like a little brother to me, if little brothers are twice your size and like tearing your ACL (don't beat him in foosball). He's a giant teddybear, go say hi and ask him and his wife Sam about their adorable new (second) child.

Gabby Molinaro

Even though she's the youngest sister, Gabby is the family historian who can tell you about events that happened before she was born. She is also Norfolk's number one fan, so if you have questions, talk to Gabby.

Danny rudely forced his way into Mike and my closed off friendship, but made up for it by becoming a lifelong friend and completing our triumvirate. He completed our tricycle, if the tricycle is quick with quips and screenwrites not-so-feel-good-but-still-great movies. Go say hi to him and ask about his heartwarming movie with Jim Gaffigan.

Caroline O'Grady Baxter

Photos without kids is a feature no longer available. To get into the Chicago apartment where Caroline lives with her husband Tom and their three kids, you have to pass a welcome mat that says, "There are a lot of kids in here." Caroline can recommend excellent Chicago cocktail bars, but she hasn't actually been to any in seven years.

I've known the Jasper boys since middle school. When I asked Phil to send me a picture of himself, he asked which role-playing-game character of his I wanted (he suggested necromancer, which always has the coolest armor). Video games, metal, skateboards, living together over summers, our friendship goes on and on. Go say hi and congratulate him on his firstborn child.

Kate O'Grady

Yes, she lives in Brooklyn, but she's not all city-slicker. Part of Kate’s career in social work has included working on her organization’s farm, so ask her about the llamas and the bees. After two years of wedding postponements, nearly none of this is true anymore, except for her continued love of llamas and bees.

Andrew Jasper

I've known the Jasper boys since middle school. Unique to the 3 other groomsmen, Andrew and I were able to extend our middle and high school shenanigans through college together (Go Dukes!), and for a couple years after when we both lived in Hampton Roads. We've played in bands together (I'll check to see if the wedding band can do a cover) and visited each other's cities (he's up on this). Go say hi and try to convince him to steal the band's guitar and start shredding.
