Virginia Beach Oceanfront
You'll find the boardwalk, with shops and restaurants, on Atlantic and Pacific Avenues, between about 17th Street and 35th Street. For a quieter part of the beach, the North End stretches along Atlantic Ave from 68th Street to the mid-80s.
First Landing State Park
At First Landing, you'll find more than 19 miles of hiking trails through forest-covered dunes, freshwater ponds, tidal marsh, and cypress swamp. You can also bike some of the trails, and kayak in the marshes and the bay. (Bring bug spray!)
Ghent
The Ghent neighborhood has one-of-a-kind local shops and restaurants, including No Frill Grill, a Molinaro family favorite, and Cogans Pizza, one of the first places Nick and Katie hung out. Other notable sites include Nick's first post-college apartment, and Katie's middle and high schools.
