Rental Car

Avis

We always use book ahead with Avis at the airport to rent a car but there are a lot of other options too. Watch out for extra hidden fees if you find a deal that looks too good to be true on expedia/another website. Mexico requires a certain type of insurance to be bought for 3rd party liability.

Travel Note

Shuttle car company service/uber/taxis

If you choose to not rent a car, we recommend having a shuttle pick you up from the airport. There are many different highly rated companies on google and then you can have the hotel call you taxis or take uber too. Although we have never tried Uber, we have heard from our wedding planners they are good and cheaper than taxis! Also please note that uber does NOT work to and from the airport so you will need to book a shuttle for airport tranfers - but uber does work everywhere else!
