Kassi and Dell both grew up in Peachtree City, GA and attended the same schools, but it wasn't until their Junior year at Starr's Mill High School that Dell gathered the courage to talk to Kassi, instantly bonding over school projects and even attended both proms together. After reconnecting in college at the University of Georgia (go dawgs), they made it official in May 2013 and began dating, building the relationship you all have grown to know. They've spent the years traveling to foreign places, attending endless concerts, growing careers and creating a bond that is as strong as the friendship that their relationship was built on.

Dell had early on in their 7-year relationship decided that Kassi was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, but it was finally time for the world to know as well. The COVID pandemic had made many things unpredictable, but it also put their lives together into perspective and they both knew they were ready for a lifetime of commitment to one another. He decided to gather a small group of friends and family at a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. When she arrived, he asked her for a moment alone outside, and that's where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She answered with an enthusiastic "YES!", with a little bit of surprise and tears. When they returned inside, they were met with roaring congratulations from their loved ones and plenty of champagne, opened exclusively with a saber.
