Take a short ferry trip to Bainbridge Island or Kingston WA. Taking the ferry is a true Seattle staple and is something you must do if visiting! If you go to Bainbridge, you can check out the Bloedel Reserve and their small downtown area with coffee shops and local places to eat. If you go to Kingston, I HIGHLY recommend trying the crepes at J'aime Les Crepes. They have a small town right on the water and it is a fun day to spend time there.
