Located a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive from the Residence Inn Berkeley, Games of Berkeley offers a selection of board games, tabletop games, and card games. It's one of our favorite shops to visit in Berkeley!
University of California Botanical Garden
Located an 8 minute drive from the Residence Inn Berkeley, the Botanical Garden features a diverse selection of plant life and supports the university's efforts towards research, conservation, and education. It's also where we held our engagement photo shoot!
Chabot Space & Science Center
Located a 20-30 minute drive from the Residence Inn Berkeley, the Chabot Space and Science Center features fun and educational exhibits about astronomy and space exploration. Be sure to check out the observatories which feature three large, historic telescopes.
Oakland Zoo
Located a 20-30 minute drive from the Residence Inn Berkeley, the Oakland Zoo is a great place to visit! One of our first dates was to see the zoo's unique exhibits of wildlife native to California. There are plenty of other animals to see, too! If you would like to visit the zoo while in the area, we recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time.
