When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 15, 2025. If you would like to book a room at Residence Inn Berkeley under our group rate, please book your stay by June 15, 2025.

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

Answer

As space is limited, we ask you attend with only those included on your invitation. Please indicate when you RSVP which invited guests will be attending.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Buses will be available to provide transport from the Residence Inn Berkeley to the wedding venue in Tilden Regional Park. Buses will also offer transport back to the hotel at multiple points in the evening.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend booking flights to Oakland International Airport (OAK). BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) travels directly between OAK and the Downtown Berkeley BART Plaza, which is a 3-5 minute walk from the Residence Inn Berkeley. If flying into OAK is not feasible, we recommend flying into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) which is also accessible by BART. San Jose International Airport (SJC) is not accessible by BART.

How do I get to Berkeley from the airport?

Answer

If flying into Oakland International Airport (OAK) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO), we recommend taking BART to the Downtown Berkeley BART Plaza, which is located a 3-5 minute walk from the Residence Inn Berkeley. We do not advise driving a rental car in Berkeley as roads are often congested and have frequent pedestrian traffic.

Where can I park in Berkeley?

Answer

We recommend taking BART to Berkeley. However, if you are driving we recommend parking in the Center Street Parking Garage located a 5 minute walk from Residence Inn Berkeley.
