What can I expect at your wedding Mass?

Answer

We are excited to partake in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony at St. Kilian. Kathleen has been a parishoner at St. Kilian's for her entire life, receiving the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion at this parish and serving as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. Patrick has joined the family in attending Mass at this parish since moving to New York. The Nuptial Mass will take approximately one hour. You will be guided when to sit, stand, kneel, respond, and sing. Please participate based on your level of comfort. If you have never received the sacrament of Holy Communion kindly refrain from doing so. What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be going directly to the venue to take pictures. During this time, guests who are staying at the hotel will have time to travel there and check-in if needed. We have arranged for a shuttle to take guests from the hotel to the reception venue. For guests who are not staying at the hotel, you can meet us Bellport Country Club for cocktail hour.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
