Beach
Kiawah Island boasts 10 miles of pristine beach which you can access through many public entrances around the island. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available through Kiawah Resort can be booked online or by phone at 843-768-6001. They will deliver and set up at the boardwalk closest to where you're staying.
Biking
Kiawah is an amazing place to bike, either on the designated bike paths throughout the island or directly on the beach. If you are renting a villa or home from the Kiawah Resort, rent bikes online or phone directly through Kiawah Resort at 843-768-6001. If you are staying at the Sanctuary, bikes will be made available to you through the hotel. If you are staying at the Andell Inn, rent from Seacoast Sports at 843-768-8486 located directly in Freshfields Village.
Golf
For those wanting to book a tee time at one of the five championship courses on Kiawah, please contact the courses directly. Guests staying at The Sanctuary or renting through the Kiawah Resort will receive a discount.
Tennis and Pickleball
Court reservations and racket rentals can be booked in advance for both tennis and pickleball.
Other Recreational Activities
There are a variety of recreational activities on the island through the Kiawah Resort - kayak, paddle board, fitness classes and more.
Bohicket Marina & Market
Bohicket Marina is located in between Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island. The marina offers charters, boat rentals and a few shops and restaurants.
Freshfields Village
Freshfields Village is located at the entrance to Kiawah Island and is a great place to explore with more than 30 shops, restaurants, services, a grocery store and the Andell Inn.

There are a variety of dining options throughout Kiawah Island. Reservations vary and can be booked through individual restaurants in the attached link.
Charleston
Kiawah Island is roughly 45 minutes from downtown historic Charleston. While we do not recommend staying in Charleston for the wedding weekend, it is a great day trip!
