Question

What about Covid?

Answer

We are choosing to have faith over fear and are planning the celebration that feels true to us. Every precaution will be taken and you will be updated accordingly. Please forward any questions to buecrosa@gmail.com

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 10, 2021. On the RSVP please include the full name of all guests attending, phone number and email address of one person attending.

Question

Do I Have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes. We are limited to how many guest the reception can host. If you don't RSVP we will not be able to add you to the Contact Tracing form. We’d love to have you join us and just want to make sure we're ready for you! It's just a couple of clicks on here or you can mail back the RSVP card. Do not assume we know whether you are coming or not.

Question

I missed the deadline, can I still RSVP 'yes'?

Answer

It depends. Please contact us at buecrosa@gmail.com for assistance with this issue.

Question

I initially RSVP'd yes, but something came up and now I can't attend. What, if anything, should I do?

Answer

First, we get it, life happens. Please e-mail us at buecrosa@gmail.com as soon as you are aware of your inability to attend.

Question

Can I bring a guest? Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Check your response card for how many seats we have saved for you. If you feel there was an error made you can reach out to the bride at buecrosa@gmail.com.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Invitations addressed with "& Family" symbolizes that your child is invited to both the ceremony and reception. Check your response card for how many seats we have saved for you. It is totally up to you whether or not you bring your child/ children. You are solely responsible for your child during both events; if you would like a night out, leave them home. If you have children under the age of 15 and did not receive an "and family" indicator on the invitation please reach out to the bride at buecrosa@gmail.com.

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The reception does have an outdoor area that you can utilize through out the night. The floor of the church is carpeted. The floor of The Milleridge Inn is hardwood.

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Yes, the Milleridge Inn has ample parking. There is no valet service.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, St. Fidelis Church has a parking lot. Entrance is on 15 avenue between 123 Street and 124 Street.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception the dress code is Jacket & Tie* and Cocktail attire**. *Jacket & Tie- Similar to Lounge Suit or Semi-Formal, however Jacket & Tie indicates that it is acceptable for men to wear a sports jacket, suit jacket or even a smart blazer and chinos with a tie. Women may wear a cocktail dress that is shorter than floor-length, a pantsuit, or dressy separates to a Jacket & Tie event. **Cocktail attire- Cocktail attire isn’t overly formal and is asking guests to be dressed a step above smart casual. An above-the-knee hem (or any length above floor length) is appropriate for women. Men can wear a suit (tie optional) or sports jacket and dress shirt.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, not in the traditional sense. There will be no physical bar/ walk-up bar. Order all drinks from the waiter serving your table during cocktail hour and dinner. We ask that you drink responsibly and call a Lyft/Uber or have a designated driver if you do not feel as if you can drive home. Remember to tip your bartender!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Zola, which can be found at the link above. If you prefer in person shopping we are registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond or Target.

Question

Can I use my electronic device at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please "unplug": turn off devices during the wedding ceremony. We want you to be fully present in the moment with us. Even though you are excited to take part in and document this moment with us, this is a special moment between the two of us, the photographer will document all of it. Don't worry, we will send you photos from the photographer shortly after the wedding. Feel free to use your device anytime during the reception but please be respectful and put your device away when the professional photographer or videographer is capturing a shot.

Question

Can we post to social media?

Answer

Elvin and Kathleen are both private people who don't share much on social media. We would like our wedding to be the same way. Please refrain from "going live" or uploading photos that mention us to your platform the day of the wedding. You are more then welcome to post the day after the wedding.
