Flight
You have a few options! Shannon Airport is a bit smaller, about a 3 hour drive to Harvey's Point and would be optimal for anyone looking to rent a car and travel up the western coast (Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Sligo) on your way. Dublin is also about 3 hours to Harvey's Point but is the larger airport so it will have the most flight and airline options. Also great for renting a car and sightseeing, especially those looking to explore Dublin city and the Guinness Factory! There is a bus from Dublin Airport to Donegal town. Belfast Airport is about 2 hours to Harvey's Point but would require a connecting flight since they don't offer any flights direct from the US. You can also rent a car here and sightsee through the north or Ireland. (See "Make a Trip of It" link to travel and sightseeing recommendations).
Hotel
This is the wedding venue and hotel -- we will be having the welcome party, wedding ceremony and reception here. Booking for Harvey’s Point hotel is now available online and we suggest booking as soon as possible to ensure your room as it is a popular hotel! If you would prefer, there are plenty of hotel and accommodation options in Donegal town, which is about a 10-15 minute drive, with taxis available in town.
Hotel
For the day after the wedding, we will be relocating to Declan's hometown for the afters party at St Canice's GAC Dungiven Club (pub) in Dungiven. We recommend staying at Roe Valley Hotel in Limavady and will be providing transportation to and from the club on Saturday evening. We will have drinks, light bites and music. Children are welcome. There is a restaurant, 18 hole golf course and spa! We invite our guests to book themselves on the hotel website at www.roevalleyresort.com where you can select rooms, number of nights and special offers. Booking is now available online; there is a discount if you prepay in full. We suggest booking as soon a possible as this is also a wedding venue. Please note - they have recently changed to Roe Valley Hotel and use the new email address for any inquiries or booking amendments. If you are planning on staying at Roe Valley, we suggest The Golden Chipper for takeaway food and Moo Town Creamery for ice cream in Limavady!
Travel Note
We recommend the best way to travel around is by renting a car. Uber is not available and you will really only find taxis in the larger cities (Derry City and Belfast). You will not need to worry about transportation on Thursday & Friday since everything is at Harvey's Point. If you plan to partake in the day two afters, you will just need to get yourself to Roe Valley Hotel and we will be providing transportation for the evening.
