Point Reyes National Seashore contains ~80 miles of shoreline, including dozens of miles of sandy beach which visitors may explore! We highly recommend Drakes Beach and whale watching at the Point Reyes Lighthouse or at the end of the Chimney Rock Trail—summer is the season for Humpback Whales and Blue Whales!
This state park includes forests, beaches, field, hills, meadows, and marshes. There are many opportunities for picnicking, hiking, kayaking, and even clamming (if that's your thing)! We highly recommend Pebble Beach, but be aware it is a short hike to the beach from the parking area!

Old Western Saloon is one of our favorite dive bars that's located in Point Reyes Station. The historic saloon—once visited by King Charles and Queen Camilla—features pool tables and great live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Some say it's haunted, but we'll let you decide!
Toby's Coffee Bar is located in Toby's Feed Barn, in the center of Point Reyes Station. It's the perfect spot to grab a coffee and pastry to-go, or sit and enjoy at one of their cafe tables! They have delicious coffeehouse drinks and home-baked goods, all made with local organic ingredients and fair trade coffees and teas.

Located directly on Tomales Bay, Nick’s is the perfect spot to enjoy amazing food—from seafood, to salads, to steak frites (and Mac n' cheese for the kiddos)! Indoor and outdoor seating with a great view, a full bar, and a crackling fireplace make Nick’s a top spot for a meal or drinks.
Go here if you're in the mood for oysters and fresh local seafood (they also smoke their own slow cooked meats)! The Marshall Store is perched right over Tomales Bay, and when the weather’s on your side, you can sit outside and take in the views.
Tony’s Seafood is one of those restaurants that goes way back—a place where locals have gathered for a plate of their favorite seafood and a cold beer for nearly 70 years! It's part of the Hog Island Oyster Co. family of oyster farms and oyster bars.
The Hog Island Oyster Farm in Marshall offers a "Classic Farm Tour" by reservation only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 9:30 AM. You can learn all about oysters, how they are farmed, the marine environment in which they grow, and how to shuck and eat an oyster. The tours last about 1 hour and 15 mins and cost $48 for adults and $0 for children under 12!

The taproom has a curated selection of wines by the glass or bottle, craft brewed beers on tap, and a classic bar food menu.
Bodega Bay—the location of the Alfred Hitchcock movie, "The Birds"—is a picturesque fishing village north of Marshall. They have world renowned surfing, kayaking, kite-boarding, hiking, zip-lining, whale watching, charter fishing, local cafes with fresh seafood, and much more!
