Where to Sleep and Shower

There is a block of rooms at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Flagstaff for the Serrano wedding. You can call the hotel at 928-556-8666 directly; the rooms are set from September 22 to September 25. There are 10 double-bed rooms plus 5 king-size rooms in the block; nightly rate at $129 plus tax. The hotel has an outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as daily breakfast offerings. Each room has a coffee maker. There are a number of restaurants near the hotel, both fast food and dine-in. WalMart and a couple of grocery stores are also close by.

How Far from Phoenix?

Flagstaff is 2 to 3 hours north of Phoenix and is a popular weekend destination for many people. If you are flying into Phoenix on Thursday, you might want to book a hotel room close to Phoenix but don't choose anything close to the airport. If you are flying into Phoenix on Friday, we suggest booking a hotel in Flagstaff.

We suggest checking on Flagstaff rental houses and sharing the cost. You would have more privacy than a hotel, you won't have to listen to people making a lot of noise late at night, and you could have a full kitchen to cook meals to your taste.
