We're getting married!

We met during our freshman year of high school through a mutual friend—over Skype, of all places. There was no video, just a simple voice call while Katie was supposed to be tutoring a friend for Biology. Instantly, conversation flowed easily. For one of us, that felt natural; for the other, it was as strange as a fish with wings. Still, we both recognized it was something special. Now, after 11 years of friendship, 9 years of dating, and 2 cats, that feeling remains just as extraordinary.
