Question

How do I get to the welcome dinner?

Answer

Our welcome party will be hosted at the Clubhouse on Lake Sconti, located at 186 Clubhouse Drive, Jasper, GA 30143. Navigation will be able to direct you to Big Canoe and to the clubhouse once you enter the community! Please note that you will be required to go to the guest entrance and provide your name and ID to the employee there. Any guests that did not RSVP to the welcome dinner on your invitation will not be on this list, so please reach out to the bride or groom if you are planning on coming and RSVP-ed no. The employee at the gate will also be able to direct you to the clubhouse.

Question

What should I wear to the welcome dinner?

Answer

We encourage our guests to follow a "dressy casual" dress code for the welcome party! Think something you would feel comfortable wearing to a nice restaurant or to church. Jeans or khakis with a nicer top or casual dresses are perfect!

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be located at 200 Greystone Estate, Ball Ground, GA 30107. There are two different venues located at the Greystone Estate - the Gardens and the Grand. Our ceremony is located at the Gardens. Please follow the signage to make sure you are arriving at the correct venue! For those staying at the Hampton Inn, we will provide a shuttle from the hotel to the venue. The shuttles will be departing at 4 pm, so please arrive in the lobby by then.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. For men, please wear a suit, tie, and dress shoes. For women, please wear a formal floor-length dress. Mid-length dresses and pantsuits are also acceptable! All guests are welcome to wear lighter spring colors to match the season. We are excited to see our guests dressed up with us!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm. Please arrive by 4:30 pm so you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle in!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is a paved parking lot that can accommodate our guests. After turning at the entrance for the Gardens, you will drive down a long driveway directly to the lot. For those guests with difficulty walking, there is a side driveway for drop offs and pick ups, as there is a hill to walk up to the chapel where the ceremony will be held.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

There is no overnight parking permitted at the venue. As alcohol will be served, we kindly ask our guests to make sure they have a designated driver if they are driving to the venue. For those taking Uber or Lyft, please reserve your rides in advance, as rideshare services around the venue are limited. Due to this, we recommend utilizing our shuttle!

Question

What is there to eat and drink?

Answer

We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy our celebration! There will be appetizers at cocktail hour, a full dinner buffet, and dessert. For those with dietary restrictions, please reach out to the bride or groom prior to the wedding as we are able to provide accommodations. In terms of drinks, we will be providing signature cocktails, wine, and beer, as well as tea, water, and lemonade.
