Bride
Hi everyone! As the bride, I want to ensure you all know a little about me, especially for those who may not. I’m Katherine, and I’m excited to celebrate this special day with all of you. I’m known for being sassy and witty. I speak my mind, and I don’t hold back! My friends would describe me as blunt but fiercely loyal. While I may not have a large circle of friends, I treasure my close relationships with my fiancé, Cia, and my parents. We share a strong bond and spend a lot of time together, creating memories and having fun. I’m looking forward to starting this new chapter with Landon and making unforgettable memories with all of you on our big day!
Groom
I’m the Groom, a person who values loyalty, honesty, and deep connections with the people I love. I can be brutally honest sometimes, but it comes from a place of genuine care and respect. I’m always looking out for my family and friends, making sure they know how much they mean to me. I tend to get lost in thought, often caught up in the “what-ifs” and possibilities of the future. But no matter where my mind wanders, my focus remains on building a life I can be proud of, one full of love, laughter, and the person who matters most to me, my soon-to-be wife.
Matron of Honor
For anyone who doesn't know, my mother has made such a significant impact on my life. She earned the title of mother of the bride and rightfully earned the title of matron of honor. As I prepare for my special day, I can’t imagine anyone more important to have by my side My mom has always been a constant in my life. Her strength, love, and guidance have shaped who I am today. From my earliest memories she was always someone who I could count on, and was always there for me when nobody else was. Some might just call this being a good mom, but for me, this made her part of my heart and soul.
Father of the Bride
As the father of the bride, my dad holds a special place in my heart. Growing up, I was a daddy's girl, and every time he came home, even just for the weekend, my world would light up. Those reunions were filled with laughter, adventure, and cherished moments I'll never forget. Though his military service meant he was often away, he always found ways to connect, leaving me with countless memories that shaped who I am today. As I've gotten older and he's retired, our relationship has blossomed even more. When he walks me down the aisle, it will be a special milestone for us, a culmination of our journey together, and I couldn't imagine sharing it with anyone else.
Bridesmaid
Lisa has been part of my life for a long time through her marriage to my “Uncle” Eric, one of my parents’ best friends from college. Even though she’s new to the family, she’s felt like family from the start. She’s fun, kind, and really gets my humor, which makes spending time with her so easy and enjoyable. I’ve always appreciated how she brings warmth and laughter to family gatherings. I’m so grateful to have Lisa as one of my bridesmaids, and I’m excited to continue growing our relationship in the years ahead.
Bridesmaid
I didn’t get to see my Aunt Andrea a ton growing up, but every single time we’re together, it’s like no time has passed. She just instantly treats me like we’re old friends catching up, and honestly, she’s exactly the kind of person you want to hang out and gossip with. She’s fun, easy to talk to, and always brings such a good vibe. She’s definitely the “cool aunt," and I’m really glad she’s one of my bridesmaids.
Officiant
Eric Boykin has been a cherished part of my life for as long as I can remember. As one of my parents' best friends they made during their college years, he became like family to me so much so that we affectionately call him “Uncle.” Growing up, I treasured the moments we shared, and I’ve always valued his presence in my life. When Landon and I got engaged, I knew immediately that there was no one else I could imagine officiating our wedding. I am genuinely grateful to Eric for stepping up to marry us and being such an important part of our journey. Thank you, Eric, for your love and support!
Best Man
I wanted to acknowledge Landon's best man. We met about two years ago through our shared love of video games, and what started as casual play quickly blossomed into a deep friendship. As we chatted and played more, he became an important part of our lives, bringing joy, laughter, and a healthy dose of sass! His quick wit and knack for cracking jokes that keep us entertained, making even the most challenging days a little brighter. We couldn’t imagine anyone more perfect to stand by my fiancé’s side today. Here’s to many more adventures and laughs together!
Groomsman
Caleb and I've been friends for just over a year, but it feels like we've known each other for much longer. He's not only an incredible friend but also a devoted father, and I’ve admired the way he balances everything with a sense of humor. One of our favorite ways to unwind is to game together for countless hours, filled with lots of laughter and maybe some friendly competitiveness too. I’m honored to have him by my side on such a big day.
Groomsman
Brandon and I met when I started my current job, and he quickly became one of the best parts of the workday. We’ve kept each other sane through the chaos, always finding something to laugh about, even on the roughest days. He’s not just hilarious and kind, but also a talented, aspiring actor with big dreams. My wife and I have had the pleasure of sharing double dates with him and his amazing partner, Daniel, and their friendship means the world to us. I’m proud to have him standing with me on this special day.
Usher
I couldn’t think of a better person to have by my side on one of the most important days of my life than my Uncle “JJ”. Always the laid-back, easygoing guy, he's been a constant source of support and a true rock in my life. When I first moved to Texas, I spent countless hours at his house, just hanging out and enjoying each other's company. Through all the ups and downs, I always knew I could count on him for anything. His calm presence and unwavering support mean the world to me. If you have any questions about seating, he’ll be the one you’ll want to look for, at least on the Salvatore side. I’m beyond grateful to have him here with us today, helping to make this day even more special.
Usher
Brenden is my brother-in-law, married to my sister, and the proud father of my amazing niece and nephew. He’s the kind of person who always puts his family first, and it shows in everything he does. A devoted husband and an incredibly caring dad, he brings a steady presence and a great sense of humor wherever he goes. Whether he’s cracking a joke or lending a hand, he’s someone you can always count on. I’m truly grateful to have him as part of the family and honored to have him help welcome our guests on the big day.
Father of the Groom
If you know my dad, you know he’s probably already posted a meme about this wedding on Facebook. He’s the kind of guy who’s never afraid to make a scene, whether it’s cracking a loud joke, cheering a little too hard, or just being unapologetically himself. Some might call him loud or even a little annoying, but that’s part of his charm. He’s always been there when it counts, and that’s what matters most. Through every up and down, he’s shown up with love, support, and a laugh, ready to go.
Mother of the Groom
I want to take a moment to introduce one of the most important people in my life—my mother, Heather Craig. She is a caring and compassionate person who has dedicated her life to helping others as a nurse. Her selflessness and ability to put others before herself truly inspire me. Whether she’s tending to her patients or supporting friends and family, she is always there to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Her warmth and laughter light up any room, and I can’t wait to celebrate this special day with her by my side. She has always been my biggest cheerleader, and I’m so thankful to have her love and support as I embark on this new chapter in my life.
