Katherine (Katya) Berkland

Bride

Katya was born in Russia and was adopted by Eldon and Wendy Berkland in 2004. She grew up in Minnesota with her late brother Andre. She spent her childhood tubing and water skiing on the lake. She would also spend her weekends traveling for soccer tournaments and basketball games. Later in life her family moved to Bozeman, Montana where she attended Montana State University, and received her Business Management Degree. After many years in cold weather, she relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to escape the harsh winters. She enjoyed spending time on the lake, or working. In the future Katya would love to take her photography skills around the world with her.

Kanan Olenick

Groom

Kanan was born in Anaheim, California to Lisa Olenick and Mark Mramer. He spent most of his childhood surfing and sailing in California. He would spend weekends in Havasu, which later on became home. Kanan attended Mohave Community College where he earned his General Education for Business Management Certificate. Kanan is currently a welding inspector traveling throughout Arizona and California. He loves to spend his free time jet skiing, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, fishing, but most importantly spending time with his family. In the future Kanan hopes to retire and sail the world, first stop being Indonesia.

Kinsley Olenick

Flower Girl

Daughter to Kanan and Katya. Loves to snack on anything and everything. Enjoys evening walks, and bullying her dog Maverick.

Kevin Olenick

Officiant

Kevin is Kanan’s wonderful uncle. He resides with his wife Samantha and son Parker in San Diego, California. Kevin loves to surf locally and internationally with his family. His hobbies also include RC boats, Rc cars, sailing, and anything else involving the water.
