We’re getting married

Welcome to our love story. It begins when we first met in January of 2021. Katya had just moved from Montana to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where she met Kanan. He was her first friend in town and they instantly clicked. They started dating a few months later, after they realized how much they had in common. They both loved anything involving the outdoors- hiking, surfing, dirt bikes, snowboarding and pretty much everything else. They spent their first year traveling for snowboard trips, spending time surfing on the lake, hanging with friends and got to enjoy a 9 day trip in Alaska. After the new year they went separate ways but fate brought them back together a few years later. They rekindled their friendship in September 2023, which turned into a blooming romance after they discovered Katya was expecting a little girl by next summer. They spent many of their days hanging by the lake, Kanan would rip his jet ski meanwhile Katya would be sun bathing safely on shore. On July 3rd 2024 they welcomed little miss Kinsley Ray Olenick to their family. Shortly after that they packed up their things and moved into a 5th wheel to follow Kanan as he traveled around for work. During the travels they got to visit the ocean many times, took weekend trips to the forest, hung out by the river, and even went on a weekend trip to Mammoth where Katya hiked 20+ miles with Kinsley as a three month old. Throughout the year their love grew stronger and stronger. On July 5th 2025 Kanan proposed to Katya on his uncles sailboat.. which happened to be a dream of hers. They were surrounded by all their loved ones. Although their love story wasn’t easy or simple.. they still chose each-other and continue to choose each-other each and every single day. They plan to continue growing their family-after the wedding of course- and hope that their travels never end. After the wedding they plan to do a week long camping trip through the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, where they can enjoy time together and be in a place they love most-the mountains.
